Research Cell of our college was founded on this very ideal. The cell promotes a research bent of mind among the faculty members by steadfastly encouraging them to take up research based activities. The Cell conducts several programmes to motivate the staff to enroll for M.Phil and Ph.D programes. It also motivates them to undertake UGC sponsored research projects. The cell encourages members of the staff to publish their works in leading journals and to present papers at national and international conferences.
The cell also attempts to cultivate an interest in research interest among students by encouraging students to present papers in Seminar and Conferences. The Research cell has organized Four International Conferences and One National Level Kannada Conference in our college for Research scholars and Faculty members.
To strengthen the bond between the teacher and taught and to provide academic support to the students. To check indiscipline, irregularity and lack of motivation among the students, the Principal and the teachers thought of introducing Mentorship system to motivate the students. The practice yielded rich fruit. As a result, students became more and more enthusiastic and started participating in all the curricular and extracurricular activities of the college.
